Anyone ever test drove one of these? How did you like them? I was thinking about taking a look at them. Is there a site where I can build my own - the miniusa.com won't work for me.

The mini's are a very nice vehicle. Fun to drive and responsive. Same price as a Vibe(oops forgot my discount)/more expensive than a vibe. Too small for me. What if your passenger are over 5ft tall? Not very feasible if you have more than yourself and one other to do things with.

I would really much rather have a Vibe, but that's easier said than done.

It is more roomy that expected.

Headroom yes but no leg room in back. I like the car but no cargo space for groceries/car seat/dog. I mini does have plenty of room for what it is. Just not big enough for me. I road in the back seat. Last time I do that.

being 6ft myself, your average back seat will be a bit snug. the vibe is no exception. as long as it's not comparably small like a camaro back seat (which i have even delt with that), it's not so bad. how often do fully grown adults ride in the back seat anyway? i know if it was my car, that would never happen anyway since i would be driving it.

I wasn't too impressed with the MINI Cooper S that I drove; sure it was quick, but you wouldn't have many places to have fun with it safely. On my test drive I never even hit 6th gear!On top of that, ordering one is a la carte, so by the time you buy an "S" and put on some fun options, you can hit $32,000 before you even notice it; that is what happened to me when I priced one out for fun.The thing is like a tank compared to the original Cooper, though.
