Whats the stock size piping on a Vibe GT?

I believe the base and GT are the same. I measured my base tailpipe at 2.120" to 2.145", or around 54 mm. The pipe leading into the muffler is 1.92", or a little under 1-15/16" (~49 mm)

nopewhen i went to cut off my resonator myself i got 2 1/4 piping. its 2 inch. Im not sure but i think after the muffler its 2 inch as well until the tip.

I went to a muffler shop,and they told me that 2 1/4 would'nt help. It would only help the sound,but not by much. I will be just waste'ing my money

thats why the magnaflow with 2 1/4 inch catback boasts like 7 hp over stock? thats incredible for an exhaust, considering that the stock is pretty decent, and that 7 was without a CAI....with a CAI itd be even better. 2.5 is if you do engine work, and 3 is for turbo/superchargers.

nope i already cut out my resonator though. i used to have custom piping but now thats just for the track.

My resonator is cut as well so iam not worried about it.

lol u cut urs out?sounds kinda ricey eh? im probly gonna get a ES oval muffler for it and weld it on

It is rice hello its a 4 banger I got an all motor mid 11 sec LS!So i no the difference hehe
