What is this? "CM-800" found in 2010 Vibe

Is this a tracking module? Associated with a flat screen replacement for the standard radio? Any ideas?

Google makes me think its an aftermarket remote start module

That would be nice...hmmmm....
We were told this car used to have such a module, but I think that the dealer selling it disabled (removed?) some part of the system.

Definitely a standalone Compustar CM-800 remote start module.
