Sold! And so I must say farewell to my beloved Pontiac and to this distinguished group. I really feel that the Vibe was an unheralded diamond in the rough. I bought her new in 2009 for $15k. She was not a looker, but offered so much. She had a tiny 1.8L engine, and yet from 0-30mph she was surprisingly quick - quicker than some 6 cylinder vehicles I have driven. I think that the reason for this is that they kept the weight down. I think that she weighed in around 2,800 pounds. A base 2026 RAV4 weighs almost 1,000 pounds more. The bullet proof Toyota engine in the Vibe was a real plus. Seating for 5, and loads of storage with the seats down. With snow tires, I had no trouble at all in Chicago winters, even on tiny 16" wheels. Great gas mileage. I never got stranded, and never had to pour a ton of money into repairs. She will be missed! Cheers. :)

No, not that! Please! Actually that is one of the author's more obscure novels (but a very good one IMO).

I have been wanting a Tesla Model S plaid for many years, and my intention was to hold onto the Pontiac for another 2 years or so and then get the Tesla. Elon's decision to cut the Model S (and X) put a wrench in my plans. I bought a 2025 used model. Although Tesla is no longer taking orders for the Model S, and its new inventory is pretty much gone, they still have an assortment of used models in inventory. However, FOMO kicked in so I pulled the trigger. I know that it has/will depreciate(d) a lot more and faster than my Pontiac, but so far I really like the S. Thanks for asking!
