IACV replacement

due some malfunctino of such vaklve i have to replace it but i was told that is needs to be calibrated, how do you do that?

my 03 Vibe service manual doesn't say anything about calibration when replacing an idle air control valve in a GT, just replace the part. Only twist is you may need to drain some coolant before disconnecting the hoses from it (and of course putting coolant back in when you're done)

i replace it but the engine runs at 1,200 rpm but betteer than the old IACV when started went to 2,000 and the to 2,400 , went down after warming up to 1,400 rpm still too high, it should be 600 to 1,000 normal, is that correct?

That could be the ECM relearning new parameters. Something similar happened on my '07 when I cleared a stuck throttle code by cleaning it. I was back to normal after a few drives.
