Hi all! I bought a well used but still reliably getting me from A to B 2009 GT earlier this summer, have already learned a lot from just searching/lurking here (thank you). I haven't found an answer yet to this question: my Vibe is missing one of those round plastic latching pieces that hold down & release the panel in the trunk above the spare and other items. Does anyone know the proper name for these, and any source to purchase a replacement? Suggestions and additional info very much appreciated!

I assume the same part from an 09 Matrix would fit your Vibe, however, I can't find it online

https://www.toyotatownpartsdirect.com/a ... 55450.html shows rear deck parts for an 09 Matrix, looks like the part you want is identified as 58465E, although that isn't a Toyota part number, and it's not broken out on that page's parts listing


Maybe someone in a local Toyota dealership's part department could help you narrow it down.

Also, you could try https://car-part.com/ to search local junkyards for an 09 Vibe or Matrix , but they might want to sell you a whole rear deck lid, and that search tool doesn't seem to have a part name that gives me results for the deck lid, a lot hatch assemblies instead

Thank you! I have looked online at a few nearby junkyard car lists, haven't seen a 2nd gen Vibe so far...if the Vibe and matrix share the same storage panel layout that should work too. I'll try to contact them now that you've supplied me with the right pic.
