Fuel Rail Assembly

Post by chrisblues12 »

My mechanic says the fuel rail assembly in my '04 Vibe is leaking.

Part is discontinued and we can't seem to find a used one locally.

2004 Vibe, 1ZZFE

part 19205530 - https://www.gmpartsgiant.com/parts/gm-r ... 05530.html

Anyone have any idea where else I can look?

I see two on ebay but I can't tell if either is the right one or not.

You'll probably have better luck using the Toyota part number to search. I use this site http://www.japan-parts.eu/toyota/us/. Use your VIN or model info. My 2007 part number is 23807-22030 and there are lots of options, new and used.

Dumb question but are the Matrix parts interchangeable for the Vibe?

I know they're basically the same car.

So for my 2004 Vibe, I can just get a 2004 Matrix part for what I need?

For the most part, the cars are the same. GM did use and do some different things to the Vibe then the Matrix. The obvious is the body and interior parts. When it comes to the other parts, GM used their own radio system, A/C and heating system in the Vibe. So these system parts do not interchange. Because of the different systems, the wiring can be different or different color wires between the two makes. Most other parts are the same, so Toyota is a good source, if the part can not be found from other sources.
