I noticed a strong gas smell today while driving.

Once home, looked under the car and a liquid was dripping down in the middle just behind the front wheels.

Then looked under the hood and looks like this rubber hose has came loose.

Can someone tell me what this is?

I'm pretty sure that's the condensate drain from the A/C. If you were running the A/C and it was humid, that's just water.
