I did a search here and found a couple of topics related to TMPS, but most of those original posts were old:

My tire light flashes for about 30+ seconds when starting up and then goes solid. This happened to me before about 5 years ago and one of my sensors was bad. I took my car to discount tire and it was about $60 to replace the bad sensor. They recommended doing all of them because the others would eventually fail. I chose to do only the one. No issues. Currently (5 years later) the same thing has happened with the light flashing and then going solid so I thought it 's probably another sensor. I took my took my car into Wal-mart yesterday to have them look at everything and they said pressure is good, but my rear passenger sensor has failed. They couldn't replace the sensor. I called discount tire and it's $77 ($62 for sensor and $15 to install) to replace it.

I looked on-line and it looks like you can get 4 sensors for $100-$150. Discount tire said they would install sensors if I brought them in and it would be $15 per wheel, but encouraged me to buy theirs due to warranty,...

What do you recommend for sensors? Can I go OEM (which I'm assuming is Toyota/Denso)? I would just like to get all 4 replaced at this point and then not deal with it for awhile (if ever again). I have a feeling if I do the one that's bad now, the other 2 are bound to fail soon since they're going on 15 years now.

Definitely go with a tire shop and pay the $$$. Also, make sure they look up a Toyota Matrix, when programming them. When I had new tires put on my 2009 Vibe Gt a few years ago, the shop guys struggled to get the new ones programmed to the car. It wouldn't take a Pontiac Vibe. So I told them to look up and use a Toyota Matrix, and it worked! To their defense, they primarily work on semi-tires ... not passenger tires. Warranty and any other issues are included when having the tire shop do the work.
