Price drop asking $800.
2003 Vibe AWD located in St. Paul, MN. 2nd owner bought with salvage title – front end collision around 1000 miles and repaired – purchased 7/2005 and used as daily driver till 3/2024 now with 157,205 miles. Car has two other accidents since then - been rear ended twice since then and repaired.
The good – engine starts/runs and transmission works, interior is clean and in good shape. Aluminum alloy wheels. Car is close to fully loaded trim so plenty of parts to use for replacements on another vehicle. Lights and electrical (power windows/sunroof etc) all functional.
The bad – AC doesn’t blow cold air, radio backlight is burned out but still has audio, dimmer switch handle will make contact turning on lights when the cabin reaches -10F so you have to toggle it to the high beam position (known issues with this model). Lift gate support struts worn out so gate does not stay up/open. Rear AWD subframe and attached suspension components are severely rusted out (21 MN winters will do that) making it no longer road worthy from a safety standpoint and I am not inclined to make such repairs hence it is parked and I have not decided to part with it. It will drive but with severe vibration and lateral sway from rear so needs to be trailered out. Frame rails also rusting. Paint is clear coat is failing on in various spots with some rust on roof. Good parts car or project car.
Bunch of random parts (new air filters, oil pan gasket, valve cover gasket, nylon drain plugs, Haynes manual)/Toyota fluids included.
