Quick back story...was in a parking lot when another Vibe pulled up and the owner and I chatted a bit. During the conversation, he asked if I was going to Vibe Stock? Here is the info:

Vibe Stock 2024 which is a Car Show (with awards in categories), parts swap/sell, Meet and Greet on Sat., May 18th from 10AM-6PM in the Strikers bowling alley parking lot (30971 Armada Ridge Rd., Richmond, Michigan, 48062). If you wanted to show your Vibe, there is a $10 pre-registration fee where they make a lanyard with your car, miles, nickname, etc. You can pay the day of the event for $15. If not, you could just go to check it out. It sounds like there will be some other activities such as Q&A with some Vibe experts, maybe setting off a recalled airbag, etc. They will also have other merch (t-shirts, tumblers, decals, etc). There is a facebook group that has this info but since alot do not have an account/use it, I wanted to spread the word. The contact email is TheVibeNut@gmail.com.

Sounds like the work of Nick Hernandez " (kit222) on this forum. Vibe stock 2024 ..... Really ??? It's just another Vibe meet like we've been having for the past couple decades. Since many of the younger members who started out here, migrated over to that F***book site where they no longer include us here for events & meets. Usually someone else will have the courtesy to post something for us to see. I've attended six Vibe meets at various locations since being a Vibe owner. Always had a good time. I'd be interested in knowing more about this meet and if my schedule would allow me to make it. Being located right on the Ohio/Michigan line, driving there is no problem for me. Thanks for the "heads up" on this potential meet

More info on Vibestock 2024. Have people registered from Wisconsin, Rhode Island, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana and Michigan. Going to be a fun event. This is more of a meet and greet but I will me and others will be bringing Vibe parts to sell. We will also have awards for different categories.

What does the admission fee go to?

We had some awesome Vibe meets in the 00's and all were free. Of course these were at Pontiac dealers who were kind enough to host us.

I ran into the Vibe owner again at a store and he went up to Vibe Stock and said it was a great expirience! It was very well organized with alot of great Vibes and owners with parts, expirience/information, conversations, etc. He said they are already planning 2025 and said he will go if he is able. He said the 2 coordinators put in alot of time and effort and the small registration fee went to offset expenses like paper, ink, lanyard materials, etc. They do this because they love Vibes and the community and by no means are getting rich off it!

Yes. It was a VERY well organized meet. 48 or so vibes registered and close to 40 actually showed up. Definitely the best organized meet I've ever been to out of the five I've attended in the past 15 years! Will definitely be going again next year.

I hadn't heard about Vibe Stock before. I love the idea of a car show specifically for Vibe owners with categories, a parts swap, and even a Q&A with Vibe experts. The extra activities, like setting off a recalled airbag, sound like a lot of fun too! I might just have to register and show up with my Vibe, especially for the chance to meet other enthusiasts and pick up some cool merch. Appreciate you spreading the word—I'll check out the Facebook group for more details!

Thank you to those who registered and joined us at Vibestock 2024. We had 43 total Vibes, including 1 Matrix. They travelled from I believe 13 different States and 1 Providences in Canada.
I appreciate the kind words on it being well organized. As 1 of the Vibestock Co-founders, it was a TON OF WORK but SO WORTH IT. All of the money for registering/signing up went to pay back the materials. All of the hours involved designing the flyer, lanyards, commemorative poster and collaborating with vibestock awards, catagories, shirts, tumblers, bag tags, bumper stickers etc....lots of hours involved but what can I say, I LOVE MY VIBE and had such a great day last year meeting so many GOOD VIBE OWNERS. <3
