05 (base) silver Vibe.
drivers door edge has many chips from opening in the carport and hitting on the bricks of the house. The chips all 99% along the upper edge, black portion.
A/Z sells some door edge trim black plastic for $9.99 . It has just a small amount of adhesive. I warmed the area with a hair blow dryer.
It really looks nice. Hoping it remains ok..

It didn't,t work. during the summer the adhesive would run all over the area. And when you get it on your hand and fingers it,s very difficult to get off. Now I bought some "Black Out" trim tape to try out.
