Just adding this as a means of saving people's sanity and if it helps GOOD!!
My time will have saved you and your time! If it didn't ......
Tough t!TS. It was free!!!
My water leaks always happened in these locations marked in blue. I am not great with creative posts so hoping it works.
The leaves and dirty debris gets caught up over time and needs clearing. This post is to help most car owners find and identity the places where the water pools up or can't find the ground (ending up in you car interior!!)
The blue lined areas is where my car was always soaked and needed fixing / drying. Sorry about the order but can't work out the image order without it failing for some reason!
Clean the following! Marked in red......
For the sunroof drain holes DO NOT use metal or sharp wires like a coat hanger wire. Use plastic strimmer wire or plastic softer wires as you can't remove of puncture the lines or tubes.
**Disclaimer over **
For wet head liner / ceiling you probably have blocked sunroof drain holes or drain channels that need cleaning or de leafing! Clear the holes (that easily get blocked) and the channel marked in red.
For front passenger or driver side leaks check the windscreen drainage scuttles for leaves and build up . The check the side drainage holes near the wing mirrors. Clean with a wire or strimmer wire also. This will stop the water build up.
For doors and water build up there check the drain holes at the bottom of the door frames. Opening the doors can get jammed with gunk also. These holes help exess water run off........
Also check by the front wheel arches. By the jack point there is a large amount of water drained by this channel and often gets blocked. Clear with a pressure hose or wire again.
For the back check the back drainage channels by the boot and the rear sunroof drainage holes also!
Good luck and peace!!!!!!!
