Ever look up your old car on the internet?

A picture of my Vibe's Vin came up in in a set of pictures, so I looked it up.
This is definitely my old car. Yellow fog lights, damage to the rear hatch plastic, the stereo, holder for the plastic iPod dial attached to the dash, XM antenna, not to mention the picture of the VIN.
However, I sold it with 260,000 (not under 145k) miles on the clock, and the motor/trans was working :p

Interesting find

Maybe the person you sold it to eventually hit the dreaded 299,999 odometer limit and swapped a "lower" mileage cluster in it's place. Curious as to what it sold for

Strangely, if you scroll down, on the right it says "Past auctions" and click on that one and find it is the same car. $325.

Ironically, this showed up in my FB memories last night. The top pic is what my Nissan Hardbody truck looked like when I sold her back in 2004/5. I sold it to a friend in Phoenix who had switched out the wheels and did a couple of other things to her. The truck was sold again, and eventually ended up in Tuscon. The guy, IMHO, ruined it. He sanded it down and rattle-can primered it in his driveway. You can see overspray everywhere. Cab/bed bodyline no longer lines up. He cut out the front grill to make it more open for some reason? I can't find a front pic of when I had it, so I throw in a pic of what the grill is supposed to look like
HERE. Also, the front bumper has dents, and it also looks like the lower-back part of the driver's door has a dent too. The latter pics are all from 10+ years ago, and I have no idea who owns the truck now or where it is.

What they did to your old truck is pretty rough. Hopefully, the current owner is taking better care of it.

So was bored a couple weeks ago, and still have the bill of sale from when I sold my last Matrix back in June 2020, so I hit up google maps with the address. Lo and behold, you can barely make out the back end of the car in the middle garage.
