hi guy, i own a 2004 vibe gt, 6 spead transmission , with problem with the 6th gear, it won't stay put and pop out, bad synchro ring, what is the transmission model ?

i found the 6th synchro ring in www.monkeywrenchracing.com

now to find a good mechanic!!

also i found the repair kit for the transmission ( for C60)in www.transmissionpartsdistributor.com

MRW is just an hour or so to the north of me, so if I were in your shoes (someday that just may be the case) I'd opt out for the $1399 rebuild and just swap out trannys! This way you get warranty and you know it's been done right. Parts if you do it yourself are around $800 so I'd gladly pay a bit more for the peace of mind.
