2008 Pontiac Vibe hatchback. Good shape, both cosmetically and mechanically. There are some small paint chips on the hood near the front bumper, along with a few minor scuffs and scratches and a couple of small rust spots above the windshield on the passenger side (see photo) -- but it's in very good shape for a northern New England car of this vintage. Interior is in good shape as well.
We are the 2nd owner (as far as we know), have owned the car for approx. 30,000 miles. It appeared well cared for when we purchased it used from the local GM dealership, and we have kept up with regular maintenance, including oil changes every 5-6000 miles. The Toyota engine is quiet and burns no oil. No warning lights of any kind (had one come on at 104k miles, was diagnosed as bad purge valve -- this was replaced by dealer, and no warning lights since then). We've gotten around 32-33 miles per gallon in the summer (a little higher on long trips), 1-2 mpg less than this in the winter. It has been a good, reliable car, and we are only selling it because we decided we wanted a larger car with 4WD.
Comes with winter tires (nokian hakkapeliitta 8s) which were used for 1 season and have plenty of tread left. We will include a decent set of summer tires as well. The windshield was recently replaced, so is in nice shape without scratches or pitting.
Price = $4900 firm (cash only, no checks, trade-ins, etc.) This is around the midpoint of the Kelly Blue Book valuation.
More/higher res photos available upon request.
The buyer would need to be able to pick up the car in St. Albans, VT -- sorry, we are not able to deliver.
