Hearing clicks only when taking sharp turns - Any ideas?

New member of the forum here. I have a 2010 1.8 Vibe. For a while now, it's been making audible clicks (mechanical sounding, not electrical) in the front end whenever I take sharp turns. It does not happen at all when driving straight and it doesn't happen on low speed or wide turns. Only when turning sharp at moderate speeds. It clicks at a constant rate (maybe 2 times per second), then goes away when I straighten out. Let me know if I can provide any more info that might help diagnose the problem. Thanks!

Sounds like you have a bad CV joint in one of the axles.

Yep, I agree. Any mechanic can fix this by replacing the axle.
If a leaking axle boot is found before the noise starts then a new axle boot is usually enough to fix the problem. However, the clicking means the axle needs to be replaced.
I suggest taking care of this soon. If an axle fails while you are driving, you will be stuck on the side of the road waiting for a tow truck.

Here is random video I found showing the procedure. I'm not suggesting you do this your self, but if you have knowledge of the procedure before taking it to a shop you are less likely to be taken advantage of.
