I've searched and could not find any answers...The round adjustable vents on the front dash that direct air in any direction will only stay full open or closed, it will no longer stay in a partial open position....have any of you fixed this problem?
Thanks

This might sound CRAZY, but I used CRAZY glue

but hear me out. I put a SMALL dab on the pivot points of the vent, then immediately start wiggling the vent until it feels still stiff, but not to the point where its glued/fixed in one spot. The key is to not let the glue dry with the vent in a fixed position. What happens is that when the glue dries IT takes up the small gap in the pivot point and makes it stiff but still allows you move/adjustment of the vent. If you cant reach the area get yourself a paper clip, bend it straight and put a dab of glue onto the paper clip and drop a dab of glue onto the pivot points. A toothpick might work too. Hope that helps ! I accidently came across this fixing my wifes makeup mirror.

Are you saying you tried it on the Vibe vents and it worked?
If so, how long has it been?
Did you have to remove the dash to access the pivot points?
Thanks

Yes it worked on the Vibe. No I did not have to remove the dash to access the pivot points. Its been about 2 years ? Maybe ?? If you dont feel comfortable with it I dont advise doing it. Crazy glue can be messy. There was a disclaimer

Has anyone replaced their adjustable vent?
If so, how do you replace the entire swiveling vent? I have a donor car to pull the vent from, do I need to remove the dash to access the whole thing?
