Best tires for around 80-120$

Post by Jackstand347 »

Im looking for the best bang for my $ tires out there. I was about to get the Goodyear reliant from Walmart for $90 but I'm wondering if there's a better way to spend my money or if adding a little more to that budget will pay off in the long run.

I drive about 45 miles a day and take 2-3 2,000 mile trips a yeah. A good mix of rain and dry climate. And some snow, not a lot, But enough to make me prefer an all season

Not sure if they will fit your price range, tires have gone up a lot over the past year or so, but I'm running Cooper Evolution Tour on three Vibes and a CR-V. Smoothest and quietest tires I've ever had, and very good in rain and snow as well. Looks like they renamed it to Endeavor now.

I run Cooper CS5 Ultra tires on 2 Vibes and an Impala LTZ.
Quiet tires that look nice and are made in the USA.
Used to be around $110 each, but I have not checked prices for over a year.
Discount Tire has them on sale a couple of times a year.

I have two sets of Uniroyal Tiger Paw Touring AS in service now and have been pleased with them.

I will be considering them again when I need new tires on the Vibe in another 9 to 12 months. However the price has gone up 40% from when I last purchased them in August of 2021 so there may be others or better choices by then.

One of which may be the Vredestein Hitrac All Season @$120. That's a new one to me but performed outstanding in a recent Tire Rack test.

I would suggest not going lower than an "H" speed rating whatever tire you pick.

Cooper Evolution Tour. Quietest tire I have had on the Vibe over my 15 years of ownership. If you want less road noise....TRUST me....these are the tires.
