Nice to be here. I have a 2009 Pontiac Vibe AWD.

However it's been giving me some troubles.

Tonight on my way to and from work I noticed that when I turn my steering wheel all the way both ways my stereo turns of and then on again and my lights are flickering. I am wondering if this could be my alternator, battery or some other wiring issue.

Welcome. If you have radio control buttons on the steering wheel, the problem is probably in the "clockspring" cable. It looks like you can get them for around $50. A DIYer who's comfortable working with the air bag can easily replace it. Be sure to use the VIN to order the correct part. There are a lot of variations of steering wheel buttons on these cars.
