I had a Saturn a few years back and ordered aftermarket wheels for it only to find out the nuts only had 3 turns before tightened.I had to install 20 lug studs that were longer to give the nuts enough threads to be safe. Anyone with insight on this? I have an 05 with aluminum wheels and the nuts go inset into the wheels...

My 03 vibe had aftermarket aluminum wheels, with spline nuts. The lugs were long enough for that. I suspect it depends on the wheels. If you want wider wheels, probably not.
