04 vibe manual to auto trans swap

anyone ever done this? 5 speed took a (removed) so looking at options. Just wondered if anyone has done this swap.

It would bolt right in...You'd have to swap several things, ECU included. Likely the engine bay wiring, and potentially find ways to bypass the clutch switches if the auto ECU doesn't do that.
TBH, your best bet would be to swap in a C60 (6 speed). Slightly worse fuel economy due to different gearing, but much more reliable than the C59 (5 speed).

thats the problem i cant find a good manual trans up by me. im in michigan. is the c60 a straight swap no extras needed?

if your car is already a manual, swapping in the 6 speed is a straight swap.

Yes its a 5 speed manual. trying to find a replacement manual is hard up here in Michigan. I'm looking though
