Power Steering Corrosion

Post by dreac »

I'm gearing up for some bad news.. but I might be losing my car because of some bad steering fluid.
The system has serious corrosion and I can't replace these parts (the car is almost 200k miles and it's a rust bucket due the last owner leaving it up in a snowy northern city.
I'm wondering if there's a power steering hack? Like.. coating the parts in jb weld.. or bypassing parts of it with a new line and just feeding fluid in so it can drive safely even if it's a bit harder than normal to steer.. or.. anything?!!!
And.. can I sue Blue Devil because I'm pretty sure their power steering stop leak killed my car.

I can't add a pic because the file is too large.

All of the steel exposed power steering lines that rust out are readily available and can be replaced.
