Ello all. I just acquired an 03 Vibe base back in march, so i figured i needed to find a forum in case i run into issue i may need help with. Heres the car info: 2003 Pontiac Vibe base in Dark blue it had black painted factory wheels when i got it. And just looked plain. So i added 5% tint to all the back windows and 20% on the front 2. Upgraded stereo to a Dual media double din head unit, 4 hi phonix Zeus 6 1/2 in all the doors a 12in Gravity red label sub 2000w max 1000w rms in a vented box. Powered by a Pyramid America 2000w amp 2 channel bridged and its powered buy a 4 fared capacitor. Then i added a set of 16x7 NS Series 1507 Bronze. Thats all ive done for now. I paid 1700$ for it with only 96,500 miles on it. The pic it will let me load is before wheels but after tinted

Thanks All. Yeah the price was a deal. But as they say you get what you pay for. Theres a motor mount not bolted in the bottom motor brace isnt bolted and a few other things like that. That im still finding. The lot i got it from failed to tell me alot. Biggest issue now is my remote wont lock the doors. It will only unlock the driver door and pop the hatch. Oh and it wont let me unlock the car with the key either. But shop wants way too much to look at the issue.

key not working in the door is probably just the lock cylinder froze up due to lack of use. some penetrating fluid and patience should fix that.

Welcome to GenVibe Ganja ;) That's a low mileage Vibe (if legitimate) and a good price. Even if it was abused, you still got a deal. Sounds like you got just as much into a sound system as what the car is worth :o Hopefully you're in an area where it won't come up missing some night when you're asleep. Had that happen to me decades ago and it's no fun waking up to it! Any rust/corrosion yet? You located in the rust belt by any chance? Visit us often here :D

Sounds system cost me less than 350$ im a bargain shopper. The Sub was 87$ the amp was 50$ the power cap was 50$ the door speakers were 44$ sub box was 50$. As for rust belt I live in Missouri. I haven't noticed any rust but i also haven't given it a complete look over. The price made me too eager to buy and drive lol As for my lock issue it all worked perfect till the sound system got installed. And its been doing weird things since. I feel its a short issue. But the shop wants 175$ per hour to test my electrical system for possible shorts.

Had to crop the sh*t out of it, but managed to get a pic with the new wheels on it.
