How would these look?

OK, Just got back from Tires Plus... They can give me a decent deal on wheels and tires. How do you think these would look on an Abyss VibeGT? THey are a little chunkier than I was looking for. Looking for a thinner 5 spoke like the Moda R6 But when I saw these, something just clicked. Also, I think I've decided on the All-Season 235/45R17. I know I'll lose some performance over the Dunlops but I don't drill all that agressively anyway. Still up in arms over the Pirelli or Continentals. The ExtremeContacts by Continental reall has excellent ratings, well over that of the standard OEM ContiTouringContacts offered on some Base Vibes. I think I'll give em a shot.

They look kinda heavy. I think rims that are thick through the spokes tend to "wieght" down the look of the car. At least they're not chrome! They're unique, though! Here's a sneak peak!

A second option was a split 5 spoke... Rage Motif. The dealer can only get them in Chrome at this time. Unfortunately, it's well over my budget but they would look very nice.Always thought the 17" OEMs looked rather heavy without much style. I think these have a lot of style and look fairly nice. So did you photo-shop that picture? I had seen a few other photos from Quantum Tek's web-site...Mostly of 18"ers though and no Vibes. They looked real sharp on darker vehicles. I think I'll be happy with em.Dave

i hate my stock 17" wheels. they are ugly! having a helluva time finding good snow tires for them too. i'll probably have to end up getting 16" ugly rims and studs for the snow and ice this winter...

Yea, it's photoshopped on my car! I would agree about the stock 17's, but sibce they're 17's, it's easy to upgrade them. Unless you want to go bigger! (which I do and I shouldn't lose performance! I've got a plan on which wheel! But I can't tell!

hmmm... Found out that Emo Wheels basically takes Quantum Tek's wheels and Chromes them out. Can get this exact wheel in Chrome for just over $200 per wheel. I like the look of Chrome but that would definitely be somthing I wouldn't do till after Winter, ya know? I'm really surprised how much weight the Chrome adds. Shipping for the Alloys put it around 120 lbs/4 UPS but the Chrome was 180 lbs/4... That's a lot of added weight. So... maybe not...Dave
