Have a line on a color matched OEM GT effects kit (front/rear bumper covers, spoiler and skirts) for 200 bucks.

Worth it to buy and swap the base plastics over? Would I be the first with a 2” lowered GT if I do this and toss some Tiens on her?

Go for it !!! Rear bumper cover for 09-10 GT are 300-400 bucks (my son has gone through TWO of them in the past ten years). That's a real good price for everything! Show all progress. Keep us posted
