Im pretty sure they are, but rock auto shows KYB complete assembly ONLY for the corolla. When you expand the link for more info, it just says corolla but not Vibe or Matrix. Other brands under Corolla show they fit matrix, vibe and corolla. Just want to make sure here....I would THINK if a strut is interchangeable with one brand....it should be the same for all ???

Its weird because even on the KYB site KYB SR4274 shows it just fits corolla. No mention of Vibe.

They are physically the same on the outside, but the inside will have different valving to compensate for the Vibes heavier rear.

That being said, you are unlikely to notice a difference.

Hard to really know, but will that mean the ride height will be lower OR will it wear faster ???

Ride height is determined by the spring.
The Corolla ones might wear faster, but we're talking about 100lbs difference between comparably equipped the Corolla (2600lbs) and Vibe (2700lbs).
