A treasured family member since new.
Always garaged, well-maintained; no breakdowns of any sort, ever... does have a new clutch.
280k miles, nearly every one highway, so the vehicle has far fewer hours and cycles than that mileage would suggest.
This original generation GT was the greatest, IMVHO, with 180 horsepower, 8100 rpm redline, with an amazing rush starting at about 6000 rpm, thanks to the Yamaha head. Six-speed close-ratio trans. Interior packaging is amazing, and it seems capable of carrying anything.
It has been a dependable component in a manufacturer’s rep business (hospital furniture) covering three states.
Looks terrific, runs/starts beautifully. No visible rust. Very few minor dings. Salsa red.
While hauling a load, it still dusts off loud-piped Civics and such...
Merging households forces the sale...
$2900.00...

Sadly, I also have a 2003 GT for sale. My wife is ready to give it up, and I wanted to see if anyone would like to salvage it before it goes to scrap. It needs work, and a little TLC, but I will let it go cheap to someone who would like to keep it going. I'm in Upstate NY. Message me for details or offers. This has been one of my favorite cars, blasting through the gears, going over mountain roads. Great starter car.

Where do you consider upstate NY? What work does it need? Pics? Price? Etc.

It's covered in snow, so no pics for a week or two. Color is Cherry Red. I put a fresh battery in. It was running a little rough from not starting in a while. Definitely needs a new catalytic converter, hood needs the latch cleaned out good or replaced. Fabric is ok, newish stereo. scratch above the windshield from the hood snapping back(see above about the latch, lol) I think it had 180k miles, new clutch. I think I have a pair of snow tires for it. Original rims.
Upstate NY would be near Albany. Price is negotiable.

zbyers & tpollauf, anyone else interested... wish I could post to your individual responses but do not see how.
Price was unrealistic, apparently... too much emotional attachment to this incredible long-term family member to see that.
Forgot it also just got new rear brakes and a thorough professional going over. Price now $1900.
Thanks to all who noticed...
Bill

Wow, Bill, I wish you were closer to me. I need another Vibe really bad right now and just can't find any good options near me. I used to have an '03 that very color. I'm in Kansas City. Meet me in St. Loo-wee??

You should be able to get $1900 for it easily.
Do you have this listed on your local Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace? I feel if you listed it there, you should fetch $2500 pretty quickly.
