Can someone tell me what I should use to plug up the coolant lines to prevent leaking when removing throttle body\ iacv for cleaning? Is this a specific mechanics tool that's called something?

There are hose pinch-off pliers that would work. Alternatively, the mounting bolts for the throttle body fit perfectly in the hose and stop it from leaking.

Great advice! Thanks! Also, when you lose some coolant from doing this, doesn't air get in the line? How do I bleed that?

any air that gets in should work its way through the system and end up at the top of the radiator, and then theoretically that air would be replaced automatically from the coolant reservoir over various heat up and cool down cycles. No need to bleed.
much better than the advice I was going to give, which would have been something like an appropriately sized pencil

First time I cleaned the throttle body, I didn't even use anything. Just angled the lines upward and kept a towel nearby.
Cleaned it again last week and jammed a vacuum line cap I had laying around into each hose. Got the caps at AutoZone, I think
these were what I bought.

Thanks for the advice! I'm thinking I'm going to clean the iacv while I'm at it. Maybe replace those garbage star screws with hex head bolts.
