Spotted this vehicle lately in the "test" car area at the automotive parts plant I work at.It looks like it is the Holden UTE, a car/truck similar to the Chevrolet El Camino. I haven't checked to see if it is left or right hand drive, but I did notice that the reverse lights in the tail lights are at the bottom in the pic I took, and they are at the top on the Australian Holden. It appears to be very similar to their SS UTE which is has a 5.7L V-8 H.O. (I'm assuming the LS-1 or LS-6) motor.Could this be our next treat from down under?

Now that I look at both pics together like this, maybe not the same. 1st pic shows a seperate bed from the front of the vehicle, and a different rear window angle.

Down at the race at M.I.S. in August, I seen a concept El Camino SS. It was built on the Caprice Classic platform. I think it was built a while ago though. All of the information I could find said it was built in 1995.
