‘05 Vibe power window switch needed.

Post by Whotony »

The power window switch on driver side door is broken.
Has been working while not attached to the bezel but now the button snapped off for the driver window.

I’ve looked and see many versions of this switch out there.
Bought one from an Amazon seller a few years ago but it didn’t power the windows so I returned it.

Now that the window will now go up and down due to the broken button I need a new switch.

Anyone on here have a reliable source for this part.
The one in the car doesn’t have any discernible part number that I can find except for a Toyota marking.
Each parts site I’ve looked at has several choices, all with different part numbers including
Gmpartsgiant and carparts .com.

According to the 03 matrix parts list the switch is Toyota part number 84820-AA010

I'd check ebay, or a local junkyard

Thanks. Is the ‘03 Matrix the same as the ‘05?

I would bet my own money that the toyota and pontiac switches are the same for all years 2003-2008. But we're not talking about my money

Here's an oddity, a web site called switch doctor.

The 05 Toyora matrix switch is $22.50, while the 2005 Pontiac Vibe switch is only $20. They both look identical to me, but that site gives them different site part numbers
