Had to be a lawn care guyI just hit post number 714 - anybody know two things the number 714 was used for that are ironic together?

On of my friends was kind enough to tell me that 420 is a criminal code for marijuana or something...so police refer to possession as a 4-20 in code or something.Hence the 420...THC..that I did not know, thanks for the heads-up.

I'm pretty sure its the police code for marijuana possession.

Yeah, police code is 420...but if you ever lived with a stinkin' hippy, you would know that they the like to gather in large groups in small college apartment livingrooms and smoke down at 4:20pm. How imaginative. Anyway, back to the license plate...I took a pic of this one a couple days ago. I thought it was interesting that they driver had on spiffy sunglasses and a white dress shirt, obviously on his way home from his preppy job.

Reminds me of something I saw the other day when driving home. Not quite a license plate, but... A girl had cut the top off of the O in Focus leaving it looking like a stylized U. It appeared to have been done on purpose. The cut was very clean. Also, just because it was mentioned earlier, I'm tired of the 420 thing. My birthday happens to be on April 20th, and I'm very tired of hearing that every single birthday.

I've got everything packed up for moving Saturday, but somewhere I have a pic of the rear of my 82 Yamaha 650cc Seca Turbo motorcycle. I bought it new and the dealer took care of getting the plate. After a couple days, I noticed the plate read: "650 CC". At first, I thought the guy was being cool and got me a personalized plate, but my buddy bought a bike from the same dealer a couple weeks before me, and his licence plate was "503 CC", so my 650 CC plate was just by chance.

"420" is basically defined as the time to smoke pot. It has come to mean everything from the act of smoking, the stuff that's smoked, and the optimum smoking time. Because 99% of today's culture DOESN'T know what 420 means, it has become a code people use to identify and talk with each other without outsiders knowing."420" is not the police code for possession of marijuana. Sorry- but that's an urban legend. There are several codes of law in CA that dictate drug offences. The Penal Code(PC) and the Health and Safety Code(H&S). Most of the drug offences are covered by the H&S. There is no 420 H&S, there is a 420 PC and it is "Preventing entry onto Public property". Here are some of the Marijuana charge codes: 11359 H&S Possesion of MJ for Sales11360(A)H&S Sales of MJ11357(B)H&S Possesion of less than 1 oz of MJ

yes, i am the queen of personalized plates. my first ones read "IGOBYU" on my '00 laser red cougar (only car ever been pulled over and given a ticket). when the cop pulled me over, he said, "nice plates." then when i got my Tundra, i got "2NDEBT" to be read as too in debt. now on the Vibe i have "RIZRKT" or rice rocket because i thot it would be funny. I tried for still in debt, but it didn't come out right: STLNDT. we only get 6 digits/letters on our plates. then i wanted eat rice and it also didn't come out quite right: E8RICE. after that i thot about TRD Vibe, but that would look like "TRDVBE" and no one would ever be able to figure it out. and hope's vibe: HPZVBE or HOPZVB or HOPZGT... still just didn't work quite right.

My first 3 letters are PRN, so being the wise (removed) she is, she took a black pernament marker and threw an O into there, thus reading PORN, all the cop did was laugh about it saying hes never seen anything that funny in a while. He still gave me the damn ticket though
