Door locks & dome lights

Post by vibe-anator »

I have a 09 vibe Gt. Yesterday my remote won’t lock doors (won’t do anything) and the dome lights don’t go
On! Not even switching them on! I tried both remotes and put new battery in to but nothing! I tried a manual reset ( inserting key, open shut door etc)
I’m wondering if it’s possible that I happened to
Of had a check
Engine light showing O2 sensor issue, well I erased the error using my code reader. Maybe a long shot, but could that of effected locks & lights?? Yes all lights worked until problem
With remote! Any one else had this issue?

Check engine light on will not affect the key fob remote unlocking/locking doors, nor will it affect the dome lights.

I would start by checking the fuses for those circuits.
