Nice. I take it this is her first car? If so GREAT choice. We did the same thing for our son 8 years ago when he got his 2009 Vibe GT which was his first car and still driving it today. That's 8 years & counting (paid cash for it at the time ... 50% his & 50% parents) of no car payments for a new driver. Love it. Teach her the basic maintenance stuff (unless she's already mechanically inclined) and she'll be cruising safely for thousands of miles! :D

I agree with tpollauf.

You might pick up a torque multiplier wrench, or at least one of the Harbor Freight 2 foot breaker bars with a lug nut deep socket. I put one of those in my wife's car so she wouldn't have to try to stand on that dinky lug wrench to get a wheel off in case of emergencies.

Love it!

In our case, it was "Like daughter, like mother"! I got my Vibe first, then my mom got hers a month and a half later!

Congrats to the Vibe Duo. I wish I could have convinced my wife to get one when I did recently. Instead she got a Kia Soul. Nice, but not a Vibe.
