Good morning all, just wanted to say hello to everyone.
Picked up this 2007 Vibe this weekend to replace my Nissan Pathfinder (RIP). Picked it up from the original owner with only 91K miles. Base model, 5SPD, good ol' crank windows but the car was babied and its in prefect shape. Actually a pretty fun car to drive, was a little skeptical but pretty happy with the purchase.
Going to browse around here for a bit to get some knowledge on these things.

Thank you Transylvania, much appreciated. Going to start looking for some slightly larger wheels, although the 5x100 bolt pattern makes it difficult, also maybe a shorter shifter and lower her an inch or so, but thats about it. Just want to make her handle better.

Wheels are pretty limited in 5x100. Most are running 17s. I currently have 17s with 225/45/17 tires on it, and they fill the wheel well nicely when lowered.
Short shifters, and other “go fast” parts are available from MWR (
www.monkeywrenchracing.com) You can also find lowering springs there. MWR is more or less the biggest place of the nominal aftermarket support for these cars.
Many are running the Tein S-Techs (green springs) which provide a nice drop of about 2-2.25”. There are a few other cheaper springs out there that suffice too. I think the cheapest I’ve seen are Canuck Lowering Springs out of Canadia.
You’ll find a vast amount of info and knowledge on here. You even get brownie points for starting your first post off with pictures!

Haha, brownie points are always nice.
I've had decent results with Tien on my 91 MR2 so I'll probably go with those. Not looking for too much "go fast" parts since this is supposed to be more of a commuter, so going fast isn't necessary but at least cornering and looking half way decent is a must.
As far as wheels, I might just make things easier on myself and get a set of 5x100 to 5x114.3 adapters so I can have a wider choice. Either that or just go to a u-pull junk yard with a list of compatible cars that run 5x100 and find a decent set of OEM wheels that fit.
Appreciate the info and looking forward to the odometer hitting that 299,999 milestone lol

I think those wheels are off of a Scion tC. They fit perfect.

Sweet! Looks like that yard has them in black and silver, I'm good with either so hopefully they'll have them when I get there.
