The CD player in my 09 GT factory radio quit Working. I am looking at buying another working 09 factory radio used from a salvage yard.
My question is this: Will the used radio work installed- or Do I need to take my car to the dealer to get the new radio unlocked ?
Thanks.

Yeah, plug & play should be the ticket. Does your Vibe have steering wheel controls? The reason I ask is that those of us who DO have them, rarely touch the buttons on the radio itself which prolongs the "breaking knob" issue for awhile. 2009-10 Vibe radios have junk radio knobs that routinely break. Thoroughly look that over when picking up a used radio AND if it did come out of a Vibe that had steering wheel controls, then you're probably getting a good radio. Lots of threads here on the "broken radio knob" subject if you care to further investigate. Good luck and let us know how things work out for you
