Hi everyone,

I'm preparing to change my first set of spark plugs. As a want to be mechanic, I've documented myself and I'm ready.. except that I'm not certain what's the length of socket extender I need to reach the plugs.

I can't find that piece of information. I tried to deduct this from the length of the coils but I can't find the specs either.

Would this tool be deep enough? It has a total length of 6 inches.

It should work. I have the 9" version, which makes it a bit easier to spin the plugs out by hand once they're broke loose.

that would work, coupled with an extension itself. they're not toooooo deep, but if you have around a 9" like Mark said, it makes it much easier.
