Hello all,
sort of a new (to me) '06 Vibe (base). I've been lurking a bit & reading up common problems & fixes.
Lots of info but some isn't too easy to fully decipher honestly lol but think I can get enough of it.
I have a pic, but it's too large to upload and no clue how to edit that on a phone, so I'll have to go through all that later on my PC.
Everything on it is stock, minus the radio which I've already swapped out for a JVC, and soon should be getting a double din for it.
But, getting ahead of myself. For now I need to change the oil & all other fluids. (Doubt anything other than upkeep maintenance has been done to it. Although the airbag recall has been dealt with to some degree. Which I will have to figure out exacts on that soon.)
M.I.L. was first owner, so easy for that.
Once some basic maintenance type things are caught up & handled I plan on tinting the windows, upgrade the stereo (speakers/deck/etc) then minor body work (cosmetics).
I will end up with a thread I'd imagine in the maintenance section if I can't find the right info.
So, yea.

And for the tl;dr ... I'm here, new (to me) car, I'll be around & prolly ask for input, so, yea.

If there's anything you need clarification with, there are some real techs on the forum that volunteer their professional knowledge.

Also, there's people that have done DIY repairs and have the skinned knuckles and other various scars to prove it.

I've read a bit and saw you all liked to know type, location & a pic lol
but this is a pic of it, not the best as did that shot quick at a friends house after work.
i'll be around as it looks like i'll have this ride til its dead, & checking how others dealt with things that creep up or preventative maintenance

Just installed a new deck, (again lol) but think this one will be around a bit.
Next step for the stereo is a nice amp & sub.
