Just bought a nice looking 2009 vibe to have around for a second vehicle. Only 86000 miles and is in good shape. only problem is when I first start it after sitting all night it makes a noise from engine almost like it is out of oil. new filter and oil done might have to look at the tensioner or ???.
This is our second vibe loved our first one a 2003 hope this lasts as long .

Welcome to GenVibe. Which "base" model do you have? The 2009-10 model years had two base models. One with the smaller 1.8l engine and one with the larger 2.4L engine. Let us know and thanks for joining

It is the 1.8l engine with automatic trans.
