'05 Vibe Base - Replace front stabilizer bushings?

I need to replace the front stabilizer bushings on my father-in-law's '05 Vibe. ALLDATAdiy says the labor required is 3.9 hours, which is the same as replacing the stabilizer bar itself. Does this mean you can't just remove the two bolts on each bushing bracket and wrap the bushing around the stabilizer bar and replace the brackets? Do you really have to remove and replace all the same items as if you were replacing the stabilizer bar itself??

For the most part the answer is YES. You will not have to remove everything but you will have to support the engine and lower the subframe from the body, which will require the steering wheel to rack connection be undone too. It just all depends on what you have to work with and how clever you can get.
