New member from Colorado bought an 05 base vibe a month ago with a rod knocking for 500. It is going back together this weekend.

Welcome to GenVibe. What caused the rod to go bad? Mileage and history of the car? Apparently it must be in good enough shape for you to rebuild the engine. Post pics of progress and the entire car when you get a chance
