Oh how I cringed when I saw this :cry: Another Vibe is history. What a way to go. At least nobody was hurt in this Vibe's last moments.

That's the worst thing that can happen to a car. It does not even make a good parts car. If you can get any good parts off a junked Vibe to keep other Vibes going then at least it is not a total waste.

Fires are the worst. Do you carry a fire extinguisher in your car? As a kid, I seen a station wagon that caught fire from a bad wheel bearing. It looked like family had the car loaded down going on vacation. By the time the fire was put out from the rear wheel, 3/4 of the car was burnt up. I have always carried a small fire extinguisher in my car from that memory.
