I was looking for a potential CAI for the base 2003 Vibe. I see AEM mentioned a lot on this site. When I went to the AEM site, all they offered for the Vibe was a filter to fit the OEM air box. I looked under the Matrix category and got this confusing page.

Seems the base Matrix only gets an OEM style filter too. The XR and XRS get their own CAI intakes. Does anyone know what the difference would be between a base version and an XR that the XR CAI wouldn't work on a base Vibe?

Also, other than the price what is the difference between the poor man's recommended Cosmo CAI and the AEM CAI (or Injen or Secret Weapons for that matter)?
