2006 vibe was sitting outside for about 2 months and when I started it up - the front right brake was making a thumping noise when the brake was applied.

Here is a video of the noise. Only occurs when brake is applied.

Should I drive it as is? or take to mechanic asap?

Thanks

The rotors develop rust rather quickly. There may be more rust where the pads were in close proximity with the rotor. I suggest you keep driving and make a few deliberate hard slow downs from highway speed (when it is safe, of course). This may help smooth the surfaces of the rotor. If it does not help or gets worse or develops pulsation then you should get a brake job done.
Anyway, that's how I would approach this if it were my car.
