Looking on easiest and fastest way to remove the entire hatch assembly. Any tips or pictures would be great.
I know that its only the 4 bolts that are holding it on but my question is the wiring where is the easiest point to disconnect it from with in the hatch or under the headliner.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
I am removing it from a 2003 Auto.

If I remember correctly. It is very easy to disconnect the wires by releasing the connectors behind the headliners on the driver side of the vehicle.

Will be tackling it tomorrow so I will post what I did.

It is just 4 bolts, 12mm
Get the headliner to sag a little by removing the 2 push connectors and dome light
Disconnect 3 wiring harnesses on drivers side and fish the harness through so it can be removed.
Disconnect washer tubing
Disconnect the lift supports for the hatch on the quick release end.
This was overall a very easy job.
