What takeoffs wil fit an 08 base?

I am trying to find another set of wheels for my 08 base to facilitate regular and snow tire switching. I have found some conflicting info as to what wheels from other cars will fit. Other than they be 16s so I can run stick tire size, I don't have any other requirements. So folks, what should I be lurking on Craigslist for? Thanks

I use this website to check tire and wheel sizes.

Look for anything off a 2004-2014 Matrix or Corolla with a 1.8L engine. You can run 195/65R15 or 205/55r16. I and many others run 15's for winters

MKIV VW wheels work, too. Beetle, Jetta, Golf. Not the bigger Passat bolt pattern.
I also run 15s on my 04 in the winter (and 2014 16" Corolla wheels in the summer).

I found some steel wheels and tires that came off of an 01 Beetle. The bolt pattern seems to be the same, but I'm not sure about the offset. Anyone know if these should work?

Yes I did. I have read on here, however, that some VW wheels fit the bolt pattern but the offset is way different. I was just wanting to make sure they should fit before I drop the coin and drive 2 hours to pick them up.
