odometer question and new member

I have a 2004 vibe bought it with like 260k now this happened over the weekend I was so excited to hit 300k had the camera out and after watching and watching what seemed like the longest mile it never changed to 300k and froze at 299999 anybody else have this happen

Unfortunately that is the largest value it can display.

Welcome to GenVibe! Congrats on the milestone! Unfortunately there is a glitch with the odometer on all 2003-2008 Vibes that will not let the displayed mileage surpass 299,999 miles or kilometers. Most people just continue to track their mileage via one of the trip odometers. Others have gotten a lower mileage cluster from a wrecked Vibe and swapped it.
