Hi All.

Does anyone know or better yet, have experience, with installing a plastic fuel tank on a vibe that originally had a metal gas tank? I would like to be able to put a plastic fuel tank from a scrapyard 2005-2008 on my 2003. I understand that I cannot re-use my old fuel pump- I need to use the pump from the plastic tank (the fitting is different) but it's not clear if the plastic one will fit and bolt on properly on y 2003.

If/when you get it done, I'd love to know the weight difference between the metal and plastic tanks. gl

I assume they have different number of bolts and arrangement. Based on they are quite different materials.
