I have a 2009 AWD Vibe that recently had some issues with the rear differential. Long story short, we pulled the rear diff. effectively turning the AWD into a FWD. No sweat off my back, I live in a climate where the AWD is not needed.

However, now the AWD warning light on the instrument panel is forever on.

How can I disable the AWD warning light? Please do not say, "put a piece of tape on it." I want to disable it.

Pull the instrument cluster and remove the LED from the flex circuit or cut the trace for the LED on the flex circuit.
