Does GMC make crappy power window motors or what? I find it very ironic that two of my GMC cars that i own a Vibe& my Buick Regal the other, which i use to own .woundn"t work properly when it was raining or snowing outside. either to slow or shakes going up or down.

Had 5 previous GM cars with pwr windows and never had a problem. Hope the Vibe is not the first.

My Sunfire's passenger side window won't work sometimes, and when both windows work, they are very slow.

quote:Does GMC make crappy power window motors or what?Haven't had problems with the GM power windows in my prior vehicles. The Toyota power windows in my Vibe seem to be doing fine, and so do the Mitsubishi power windows in my wife's Dodge Stratus R/T.

I've had 4 Pontiacs and never had a problem with any of their power windows failing either. Not to say that it can't happen. Maybe you were just unlucky with those particular vehicles. Hopefully this will not continue. I would be very frustrated as well.
